Responsibilities

Reporting to the Board of Directors and working closely with the President of the agency, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) defines and executes the agency’s strategy in alignment with the economic and territorial priorities of the Île-de-France Region.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

• Define and implement the agency’s strategic priorities.
• Manage and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee human resources, financial, and administrative operations.

Economic Development & Regional Attractiveness

• Strengthen the region’s appeal to international investors and businesses.
• Develop and promote the tourism offering and key regional industries.
• Coordinate with public and private stakeholders to structure economic, tourism, and audiovisual initiatives.

Institutional Relations & Influence

• Represent Choose Paris Region with institutional and economic partners.
• Speak at promotional events and engage with influential networks.
• Develop international partnerships to enhance the Île-de-France Region’s attractiveness.

Governance & Financial Management

• Oversee budgeting and financial management, including public subsidies and private funding.
• Lead governance structures and foster social dialogue within the agency.

Candidate Profile

Education & Expérience

• Master’s degree (or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in economic development, regional attractiveness, tourism, or the audiovisual industry.
• Proven track record in strategic leadership and institutional management.

Key Competencies

• Ability to define and execute a strategic vision.
• Strong understanding of institutional relations and public-private sector dynamics, particularly in the Île-de-France Region.
• In-depth knowledge of the region’s economic and business ecosystem.
• Expertise in financial and budget management, including mixed public-private funding.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and facilitate social dialogue.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and networking abilities.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in French is a strong asset.
