Choose Paris Region, the Region's one-stop shop for investors, tourists, film and audiovisual producers, and international talents, has released a 360° assessment of Paris Region's attractiveness in 2023.
In 2023, the economic impact on the Region confirmed the destination's influence, with 410 direct international investments that created over 32,000 jobs (+4%), 47.5 million tourists (+8%) and 10,745 filming days recorded (i.e., 70% of all the filming days in France).

Choose Paris Region merged with the Regional Tourism Committee on July 1st, 2023 and is now the one-stop shop for investors, visitors, producers and talent from around the world, with dedicated brands for each of these audiences: Invest Paris Region, Visit Paris Region, Film Paris Region, Work&Live Paris Region. With major international sporting events such as the 2023 Rugby World Cup and the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games just around the corner, the agency is ready to speak with one voice to all these audiences in order to best promote the Paris Region brand.

Representatives from a variety of cities and regions within the Choose Europe initiative will come together for the first time to exhibit at Collision, a renowned global tech conference taking place from June 26 to 29 in Toronto, Canada. This worldwide call for expressions of interest complies with the French government’s energy transition strategy and supported by the European Commission, which strives for zero-emission aircrafts by 2035.

In order to bring together an ecosystem around urban air mobility in the Paris region, the RATP Group, Groupe ADP and Choose Paris Region launched an international call for expressions of interest on October 1st, with the support of Paris Region. This initiative, the scope of which is unprecedented in Europe, brought together 150 applications from 25 countries.
Some 30 winners were selected, with a view to conducting experiments from June 2021 in the test area at the Pontoise-Cormeilles-en-Vexin airfield, which was inaugurated on September 30th, 2020.

Huawei announces today the opening of the Lagrange Research center for mathematics and calculus. Under the responsibility of professor Merouane Debbah, R&D Director at Huawei France, the Lagrange research center will host around thirty scientists, with around a third of them being international scientists. Groupe ADP and Choose Paris Region have announced the winners of the Safe Travel Challenge call for applications.
