Choose Paris Region has developed a specific action program that leverages VivaTech to strengthen its attractiveness and destination selection for international companies and influencers by offering them an expanded experience to discover the Region and its Tech ecosystem. Choose Paris Region involves the Grand Orly Seine Bievre area in this programme.
From keynote speakers and exhibits to Labs and live experiences, VivaTech is a celebration of today’s innovations and tomorrow’s possibilities.
In-person or online, the 7th edition, happening June 14-17, will provide a unique opportunity to meet international investors, business leaders, fellow entrepreneurs, researchers, and innovators, and ultimately boost your business.

Choose Paris Region and Global Sports Week are organizing a tour to discover the Olympic sites and how the Paris Region is positioning itself as a capital of worldwide sport.

Built for the Olympics, the OAC will host water polo, diving and synchronized swimming competitions.

The Plaine commune territory will be at the centre of the Games with the most venues being located there.

Largest construction site for the Games, the Olympic Village is a raw model of smart construction.
Explorer Tour VCs
Paris has been chosen to host the next Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024. The objective of the organizers is to create a "clean" event, to change the vision of sport with a strong ecological ambition while reorganizing the cities in Paris Region. How Startups and new technologies can be integrated into major sports events?
The aim of this explorer tour on the side of Viva Technology is to show you how Paris Region is combining strong startup attractivity, how they bridge major sport events with new technologies and how VCs investments allow these technologies to be part of one of the biggest events on the planet.

The urban authority of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (SQY) has been granted a new trial spectrum licence to deploy a private 5G network (in the 26GHz band).
SQY gathered a consortium of industrials who aim to experiment new 5G use cases in a world-class venue, the Velodrome National, which hosts major track cycling competitions and more. During the UCI Track World Championships, fans, athletes, organisers and broadcasters were offered enhanced viewing and entertainment options thanks to augmented reality, virtual reality, robotics, and advanced photography and video.
