Identified during a census of abandoned sites carried out by the Paris Region authorities, 3 sites in Grand Paris Sud have just been selected via a second bid for projects to benefit from recycling and re-qualifying operations. A total budget of €6.75 million has been set aside as part of the stimulus plan to renew ZAC Les Horizon – Canal Europe, the urban centre of Evry-Courcouronnes and the eco-district of Eau-Vive in Lieusaint. Ahead of the plans, Grand Paris Sud set about re-qualifying ageing industrial areas in anticipation of the appearance and management of brownfields in the sector.
