Paris Region through Choose Paris Region, Groupe ADP and RATP Group inaugurated the test centre dedicated to new sustainable urban air mobility at the Pontoise - Cormeilles-en-Vexin airfield, in the presence of French Minister of Transport Jean-Baptiste Djebbari.
The inauguration signals the launch of the first trials in real conditions for eVTOLs - electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing aircraft - and all the elements that will eventually enable them to be use. Groupe ADP, Airbus, Air France-KLM and the Île-de-France Region, with the support of Choose Paris Region, have launched, last February 11th, a call for expressions of interest named "H2 HUB AIRPORT", to explore the opportunities offered by hydrogen and to boost air transport decarbonization.

This initiative, with an international dimension and unprecedented in the air transport industry, was a big success with 124 applications received. 11 winners have been selected to contribute to the surge of the hydrogen airport ecosystem of tomorrow.

Paris region, Groupe ADP, Air France-KLM and Airbus are launching a call for expressions of interest to explore the opportunities generated by hydrogen in Paris airports with the aim to decarbonize air transport activities.
This worldwide call for expressions of interest complies with the French government’s energy transition strategy and supported by the European Commission, which strives for zero-emission aircrafts by 2035.

In order to bring together an ecosystem around urban air mobility in the Paris region, the RATP Group, Groupe ADP and Choose Paris Region launched an international call for expressions of interest on October 1st, with the support of Paris Region. This initiative, the scope of which is unprecedented in Europe, brought together 150 applications from 25 countries.
Some 30 winners were selected, with a view to conducting experiments from June 2021 in the test area at the Pontoise-Cormeilles-en-Vexin airfield, which was inaugurated on September 30th, 2020.

Huawei announces today the opening of the Lagrange Research center for mathematics and calculus. Groupe ADP and Choose Paris Region have announced the winners of the Safe Travel Challenge call for applications. With the support of the Ile-de-France regional authority, this initiative was launched on 27th April to tackle the shared ambition of gradually re-establishing air traffic while boosting passenger confidence.
