A strategic hub

France is the leading producer of perfume and cosmetics in Europe and the majority of this sector realize a large share of their figure export business.
All the biggest industry names have located their strategic operations – R&D, production, logistics, design and packaging – in the Paris Region, including L’Oréal, LVMH, Guerlain, Clarins, Hermès, and Chanel.
Leading international brands are also at the center of the action, such as Johnson & Johnson, Shiseido, DHC and Natura.
Cosmetic ingredients suppliers such as Danisco, Firmenich, Givaudan, IFF and Takasago are also located in the Paris Region.
A dense network of outlets of distributors (Sephora, Marionnaud, department store…) facilitates easy flow products to the consumer.
